Scratchboard
For my scratchboard I “scratched” three rugby players in. I used a scratching utensil, scratchboard, tracing paper, HB pencil, and a 4B pencil. I took the picture off the internet, put it into Microsoft word and then converted the image in to black and white contrast. I then put my computer in to tablet mode and put tracing paper over the screen. I traced the image on to the paper using my HB pencil. Next, I used my 4B pencil and went over the lines on the tracing paper so when I placed the paper on my scratchboard and went over the lines with the HB pencil it would carry over. Once all the transferring was done, I began scratching with my scratching utensil. I took four pictures of the progress as you can see above. The scratching utensil took some getting used to, such as holding it the right way, or right angle.
